Victor is so far having a lovely day. She had breakfast with her girls and Jude, even if it was only on skype, and she was eating mushy scrambled hospital eggs.

She's sewing now, a teddy bear for the new Kent baby. She still can't use her arm well, so that's by her side, and she's careful not to lift it, just using her fingers, her wrist. She's adept at adapting.

So far, the teddy bear definitely has a red cape. She's whistling.

"I wish I could help." Zombies are her line in the sand, though. Even if she were fit to fight, she'd probably end up a gibbering mess in the face of zombies, villains that can't be talked to, reasoned with, or dealt with in any way other than a skull-bashing.

"Yeah, it... isn't easy. But he isn't the only guy who really screwed me up and is still out in the multiverse somewhere. Not that... that's comforting."

"Well when you all return, there is a riddle we need to look at."

"And you are stronger from these experiences," said Lorne.

"Riddles! I'm awesome at riddles, dude, totally!" She tugs lightly at her hair, adjusts the screen on her computer. "Emotionally, maybe, but physically... I'm definitely not what I used to be."

"It can be... interesting when you are not what you used to be." Lorne glanced around. Adjusted his hat and sighed. "I haven't heard a new song in ages love. No one is inspired."

"I am just glad you fought the good fight."

"That's a serious kicker, man... d' you think this riddle thing might help bring music back? Or, I mean, what can we do to fix your world?"

"The riddle tells us how to create a new Seed of Wonder. Which will bring back the music."

"Oh, sweet! Can I take a look at it now?" She's squirming with excitement. Riddles are her thing. Jude plays a game with her, reading her riddles and timing her answers (and, often, accusing her of cheating).

"I will have to take pictures. Upload them."

"Awesome!" For the first time since she heard that Bruce Wayne was alive she is having a terrible time trying to sit still, she's just so excited!

"So tell me something good, sweet pea."

"I'm gonna meet Batman eventually, so, that's gonna be rocking."

Yes, Victor, you've been telling everyone.

"And who is this Batman?"

"Oh my gosh, only the best hero ever (Clark excluded). I've been in love with him since I was in the single digits. He's all... dark, and scary. And growly. And cute."

"Growly?" Lorne laughed. "I have looked for growly my whole life sweet pea."

"But does he have light when he sings?"

"He's fantastic. I don't think he sings, though. He's too busy brooding and swooping off rooftops and bein'... mmm." A half-laugh, she shakes the hair out of her eyes. "I'll have to send you by some comic books and movies."

"He is in the comics is he? Like Aprils hubba hubba husband? Xander must have his series."

"But careful chasing cars, love."

"Yeah, you should ask him about it!" A quizzical blink. "Chasing cars?"

"I can see you light up when you speak of him. Are you aiming to work with him? Or more?"

She gives a twittery giggle. "Well... I'm married, and he's Batman. I'd probably respect him a lot less if he pursued me romantically. But a girl can dream, eh?"

"Always. They can't take away our dreams. Love."

"Most definitely." She gives him a wink.

Lorne leans back in his chair for a moment. "How much longer are you in lock up love?"

"I dunno, a while. I've got some healin' to do yet."

"Guess we are waiting then. But I will send pictures love. Lots of them."

"Awesome! Yeah, lots of pictures, we'll see if we can't pull something together over the internet, you and I."
