((Vic-the-older and Vic-the-younger. Open to all.))
I'm talking to my much-younger alt today. I can't help but feel...almost like I've let her down? She doesn't know that she's supposed to be me. And how would she? We're so different it's astounding. She isn't afraid of anything. What changed? What the hell changed? She is every memory that I've lost and she represents a part of me that I can't get back.
She paused in her typing to give her younger self a good scrutinizing. She was writing in her notebook, then she looked up to give Victor a challenging look.
They both rolled their eyes and went back to their respective writing.
"Want, uh, some coffee?"
"No, it's bad for me."
Victor laughed and gave her a thumbs up. "Good girl, there."
"I know."
Victor blinked and laughed again. This was just too surreal.

"Nothin' much," Victor said with a grin. "Just...hangin' out."
no subject
"Well that's nice. Is this your little sister?"
no subject
"Just some kid. She's pretty cool." Victor winked and pointed to herself when her younger self wasn't looking. She mouthed 'me'.
no subject
"Thank you my father gave it to me a long time ago."
"Interesting, where did shd come from?"
no subject
"She...ummm...showed up here."
"Yeah."
no subject
"Do you have your sight back?"
no subject
Victor nodded, a smile on her face.
no subject
"Wonderful news, did you discover what caused it?"
no subject
"Nah. Just an el oh el."
no subject
"Well that's terrific, I'm glad you can see again. Sorry for scaring you the other day."
no subject
"'M glad too. I was real worried."
no subject
"How did that alternate of you end up?"
no subject
"Dunno. 'M stayin' 'way."
no subject
"A wise choice, I pray she does the same."
no subject
Heather considered it, then nodded.
"As long as she gets help, I don't mind."
no subject
"Where were you living before you met Victor, heather?"
"Which is all you can really ask for. How old are you Victor? I hope you don't mind my curiuosity."
no subject
"Eighteen." She heard, quite often, that she looked younger and acted either younger or older than she was. "Why d' you ask? An' I don't mind."
no subject
"Curiousity, I'd tell you my age but I'm older then dirt." Gabriel says with a laugh.
no subject
"Oh. Okay." She cracked a grin.
no subject
"And its funny cause Michael is older then me. Hows your family treating you?"
no subject
"I haven't been home in three weeks." Yeah. That's been difficult for her.
no subject
"Don't worry sweet child I'm sure you'll be just fine. Are you feeling homesick?"
no subject
Victor nodded. "I miss my brother."
no subject
"I didn't know you had a brother. What's he like?"
no subject
"He's blonde. A golden boy. Funny. Smart. Charismatic. I miss him. 'M worried about him."
