Victor is so far having a lovely day. She had breakfast with her girls and Jude, even if it was only on skype, and she was eating mushy scrambled hospital eggs.

She's sewing now, a teddy bear for the new Kent baby. She still can't use her arm well, so that's by her side, and she's careful not to lift it, just using her fingers, her wrist. She's adept at adapting.

So far, the teddy bear definitely has a red cape. She's whistling.

April enters the room with a smile. "Hey sweetie. How are you today?"

"Pretty good! I'll feel even better when I can give my kids a big hug, though. It's hard to be away from 'em." She has to be a little careful about the way she shows expression... a horizontal cut is healing on her left cheek, vertical on the right, if she's too animated she worries she might crack the scabs open, but all the same, she's extremely pleased to see her friend. "How're you? How's the baby? And Clark?"

"Oh I am doing fine... the baby has started to kick now. If I feel it, I will let you know." April knows that is something that thrilled Clark the first time it happened.

"Clark is okay too. He just... inherited another relative."

"Oh my gosh, how exciting! How does it feel?" This is something that greatly interests Victor, an experience she'll never get, she's curious, thrilled for her.

"Weird... like a movement from inside of me."

"That's gotta feel incredibly crazy. Like controlled indigestion or something. Oh man. You said something about Clark gettin' a new relative? Oh! And please, feel free to sit down, whatever you want."

"Well it definitely feels like something is moving inside of me. Almost alien like..." A small chuckle, since April is married to an alien. She sits down beside the bed.

"Yes. Um he used to be called Alexander, is now going by Connor. Was that clone of Lex... we found out that they also used Clark's DNA to create him. And has showed Kryptonian powers already."

"Another Alexander? Or is this the same Alexander? We're gonna have to start numbering them, I think!"

"Like I said, it was Alexander, but now Connor. Confusing..."

"Basically, he is this universe's version of Superboy. And we are still keeping him away from Lionel."

So it is the same Alexander. It's complicated with clones... you never know when an extra might pop up. "Good plan. Also good to change his name. Did he choose it, or did someone else?"

"He picked it out. He also has no memories as Alexander."

"Did something happen to him?"

"It was just a reboot. The Kryptonian genes took over. He looks so much like Clark."

"That's really cool, I didn't know that could happen." She reaches out, takes a sip of now-cold tea.

"Neither did we. It was just... weird."

"Totally. Oh! Did you hear? Bruce Wayne came back to Gotham!" she says, just remembering the news that's made her act completely ridiculous for days. She texted Clark in a glee the second she found out, watching the news in her hospital bed.

"Really? No I didn't hear that." April has been busy worrying about other billionaires after all.

"I'm so thrilled." She has the hugest, most ridiculous crush on Batman, which is slightly complicated by the fact that she's never spoken to him.

"You will wait until you are healed before you fanboy him... right?"

"Maybe. Probably. Well, first I have to wait 'til he puts on the cape and cowl, then I have to wait 'til he contacts us or we contact him. A few missions... then I'll ask him out to coffee. That's the plan."

"Well at least there is waiting involved." April smiles softly. "And we can definitely get a feel for any Batman sightings."

"Yay!" she chirps, face breaking into as big a grin she can get it without it hurting. "It's thrilling!"

April is happy to see her so excited. And her thoughts on something more positive. Speaking of which...

She reaches out to gently grab Victor's good arm, placing it on April's belly just in time for Victor to feel a few kicks from the baby.

"Acorn wants to say hi."

She squeals with joy, hand flat on her tummy, and her voice has totally gone up an octave and a half. "Hi Acorn! Uncle Victor says hi! I love you!"

There are a few more kicks in response. And April chuckles. "I think Acorn just heard you."
