"'S okay." She hugged him a bit tighter. Not too tight, though, because that was painful. "It'll be okay."

"Yeah. It will be." He'll beat someone up if it won't. "Distractions?"

"Hmm...Wanna go see Rosie?" There's a silly smile on his face.

He grins. "Okay. We'll have to spy on her, though, since it'd be weird if her fiance only showed her someone he knows after a few years. Yeah?"

"Uh. I didn't tell you she thinks I'm Fat Charlie?" He looks innocent.

And she looked shocked. "What? That's...that's not very nice t' do."

He pouts. "But I really really like her. And she really really likes me too. She wasn't as happy with Fat Charlie as she is with me. As long as she's happy it's okay, right?"

"So you're gonna lie t' her f'rever? Plus, what about Fat Charlie? Ain't he sad?"

"....he'll get over it. And of course I won't. I'll tell her. Eventually." He seems to shrink a bit.

"But he'll be real sad, huh?" She looked away. "Sorry. Ain't feelin' too well t'day. Sorta sick-ish. So please 'scuse what I say."

"It's okay. Say what you think. I do it." He smiles. "And I suppose he will be. But, well. He'll find someone else. I think she was just dating him to spite her mom." He wants her approval real bad.
