"Come on," he says enthusiastically, almost bouncing down the path towards the woodland area.

He holds the gate by the road open for her, then skips in front of her again, leading the way. "This is part of Buckland, which is Merry's family's. I used to vist quite often when I was younger."

She closed the gate carefully and followed, smiling brightly. "What a perfect place t' go! Must've been happy."

"Yes, well, except for Frodo. His parents died not far from here, then he went to live with Bilbo in Hobbiton."
